This 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup was purchased by the owner in 2021, and a subsequent custom build and refurbishment included the installation of a 5.7-liter LS1 V8, a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case with a twin-stick shifter assembly, and 3/4-ton-specification axles with eight-lug hubs. The small-window cab and the rest of the body were refinished in black and mounted to a replacement frame sourced from another truck of the same generation. A wood-plank bed floor was installed over the steel floor, and the interior was re-trimmed in black vinyl. A suspension lift was installed along with Rancho shocks, power-assisted front disc brakes, and 17″ Raceline wheels as well as a 92mm throttle body, a Painless Wiring engine harness, stainless exhaust headers, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Inside, a tilting steering column is accompanied by an AutoMeter InVision digital instrument cluster, a Custom Autosound stereo, and a Classic Auto Air climate control system.
The cab has a small rear window and was refinished in black along with the bed and body panels during the 2024 refurbishment, according to the selling dealer, who states the glass, weatherstripping, bumpers, and light lenses were replaced. A wood bed floor with polished runners is installed over the steel bed floor, and the interior of the bedsides and front bed panel are coated in black bedliner.
The selling dealer notes the replacement frame has been fitted with front and rear 3/4-ton-specification axles with eight-lug hubs along with a suspension lift using lifting blocks at the rear and Rancho shocks all around. The 17″ Raceline wheels are wrapped in 35×12.5″ Hercules TIS Offroad tires and mounted over Warn manually locking front hubs. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cab has been re-trimmed in black with vinyl seat upholstery, woodgrain door-panel accents, and a tilting steering column. A Custom Autosound digital stereo unit is installed in the dash along with a Classic Auto Air climate control system.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames an AutoMeter InVision digital instrument panel with customizable readouts for speed, engine RPM, and auxiliary information. The digital odometer indicates approximately 7 miles have been driven since the custom build was completed in 2024.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was installed in 2024 using a Dirty Dingo LS crossmember and engine mounts as well as a Painless Wiring LS conversion harness. A 92mm throttle body is also installed along with a custom air intake, an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and stainless headers feeding into a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster Flow FX mufflers. An aluminum under-bed fuel tank houses an electric pump.
Power is routed to the rear, the front, or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case with a twin-stick shifter assembly.
