This 1969 Chevrolet C10 Custom is a short-bed pickup that was refurbished and modified in 2020, including the installation of a 396ci V8 equipped with Holley Sniper fuel injection, a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, and a 12-bolt rear end with a limited-slip differential. The truck was repainted silver with blue stripes, a cowl induction hood, CPP rear suspension components, and 20″ US Mags wheels. Inside, the cabin houses TMI bucket seats trimmed in black leather and microsuede along with a Vintage Air air conditioning system, a Kenwood stereo, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and digital gauges.
Finished from the factory in Maroon, the body was removed from the frame, stripped to bare metal, and repainted silver with blue stripes during the refurbishment. Features include a Fleetside bed as well as chrome bumpers, an oak wood bed floor with polished runners, and a chrome grille.
The 20″ US Mags Santa Cruz wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes ST3 tires. The truck is equipped with a CPP quick-ratio power steering box, KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, and CPP rear suspension with tubular trailing arms. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features TMI bucket seats trimmed in black leather and microsuede along with a drop-down center armrest and cupholders. Matching upholstery extends to the door panels, and additional amenities include a Vintage Air air conditioning system, a Kenwood CD stereo with Bluetooth, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel.
Digital instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 5,600 miles since completion of the build.
The replacement 396ci V8 was installed during the build and features Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection along with a Comp Cams camshaft, a Weiand intake manifold, and Holley valve covers.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and a 12-bolt rear end with a limited-slip differential. Ceramic-coated headers feed a dual exhaust system with an H-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers.
